Two Additional Staff COVID-19 Cases at Crane Elementary School District

Yuma, AZ – As of June 26, 2020, the Crane Elementary School District has confirmed two additional positive case of COVID-19 involving Crane staff members in the following departments:

  • Maintenance – last day of work was 6/9/20.
  • Warehouse – last day of work was 6/18/20.

As recommended by the Yuma County Public Health Services District and guidelines from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), district supervisors have notified all individuals who came into contact with the employee within the last two weeks. Notified employees are asked to self-quarantine at home for a 14-day period from when they were last on campus and it is recommended that they get tested.


Individuals experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, shortness of breath) should contact their healthcare provider and/or call the Public COVID-19 Inquiry Line at 844-542-8201.


In an effort to mitigate the spread of the virus, the Crane School District Office, as well as all Crane School Offices, are closed to the public for the summer. All sites can be contacted by phone or email.
