WHO WE ARE Pueblo Elementary School is an elementary school in the Crane Elementary School District located in Yuma, AZ. We offer grades Pre-K through 6th Grade to approximately 600 students. We are excited to be opening our new Pre-school programs at the start of the 2018-19 school year. Additionally, we offer the Gowan Achievement Program (GAP) to selected 4th-6th Grade students with a focus on STEAM education that challenges students to their academic levels.
WE EXPLORE THE WORLD Through a wide array of programs throughout our campus, the students are able to participate in real world experiences throughout their academic careers at our school. Teachers on our campus are trained in a wide variety of techniques including KAGAN Cooperative Learning, Apple Educators, Problem/Challenge Based Learning (PBL/CBL), etc. Students are engaged in many activities including dissections, science experiments, coding, arts, and much more.
EXCITE, ENGAGE, EDUCATE Throughout our campus, our focus is on educating the whole child. This means that we go beyond traditional classrooms and want to ensure that students are educated on true life skills. We provide academic activities appropriate to a wide array of students and programs that extend beyond the classrooms provide students opportunities to learn about many different things. Through our 21st Century After-school program, students are able to participate in a wide array of academic, extracurricular, and behavioral programs including Musical Theatre, Dance, First LEGO League (FLL), Coding/Robotics, Cooking, and much, much more. It is through these experiences that we are able to provide every child a unique educational experience that caters to their needs.
